As Match TV learned, SKA forward Pavel Akolzin had his nose broken in the FONBET KHL Championship regular season game against Lokomotiv.
The episode occurred in the last minute of the second period, when Lokomotiv forward Maxim Shalunov harshly met Akolzin. When the teams went to the locker room, SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg signaled to the referees that a player on his team had been hit in the face with a stick.
According to Match TV, Akolzin’s nose is broken.
