– Your second goal in the match with Edmonton was the victorious for the team, and you repeated the record of Yaromir Jagra by the number of decisive goals. How important is this achievement to you?

– In the match with Pittsburgh, you spent a lasting for almost five minutes – this is your third in length shift in a career in the NHL. How comfortable are you to play such long shifts?

– It was the majority. We had “five by three”, then “five by four”. Therefore, we were in someone else’s zone, and the most important thing is that we move the puck and move ourselves. If you look at how we played, then we had a lot of points for taking the gate. But they did not score.

– Last season you took a break in Dubai, this time in Miami. Why did you decide to change the plans for a pause in the NHL?

– This year we talked with our wife and decided to go to Miami, all the more the weather was good, we were lucky. We rested on the beach, worked a little and with fresh forces in battle! – quotes Ovechkin’s Telegram channel of his team.

On the account of Ovechkin 882 goals in the NHL regular championships, the 39 -year -old striker takes second place in the list of the best snipers in the history of the League, second only to Canadian Wayne Gretzky (894).
