The Washington hockey club officially spoke about several events for fans in support of the Russian striker Alexander Ovechkin.

The Washington’s home arena was returned to the throne from the washers, which was previously installed in honor of Ovechkin in 2023. Storm hockey club announced its decision to suspend participation in the Ukrainian Championship. The Odessa team had not come to the Krizhinka match before.

At the same time, Storm denied that the issue was related to financial problems and expressed distrust of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation.
