“San Jose” extended the contract with striker Barabanov

The San Jose Sharks have extended an agreement with Russian striker Alexander Barabanov, according to the press service of the NHL club.
The new contract with the 27-year-old player is for two years.
– Alexander had a very good first full year in the NHL, showing that he is consistently scoring and is a good playmaker. He has the potential to make progress,” said acting general manager Joe Will.
In the 2021/22 season, the forward played 70 games in the NHL regular season and scored 39 points (10 goals and 29 assists). Previously in the league, Drums played for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
