Russian Tampa -Bay Lightning striker Nikita Kucherov lost part of his tooth during the National Hockey League (NHL) regular championship match against Pittsburgh Penguins, Tampa Bay Times reports.
Tampa defeated Pittsburgh with a score of 6: 1. Kucherov abandoned the puck, gave two assists and was recognized as the first star of the meeting.
In the second period, in the struggle at the gates of the Kucherov, he collided with the opponent’s goalkeeper Alex Nedelkovich, crashing his jaw into the goalkeeper mask, as a result of which he was injured.
