The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New York Rangers in Game 4 of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs 7-2.
The winners included Sidney Crosby, Jake Gunzel, Michael Matson, Mark Friedman, Denton Hayen, Jeff Carter and Evgeni Malkin.
The guests scored Alexis Lafrenier and Adam Fox. Artemi Panarin made one assist. Goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin saved 24 shots and was substituted after six missed goals. Instead, Alexander Georgiev came on the ice, who repelled 10 shots.
Pittsburgh leads the best-of-four series 3-1. The fifth match of the confrontation is scheduled for May 12.
