Kucherov won the Art Ross Trophy for the third time
The Russian Tampa striker Nikita Kucherov for the third time in his career became the best scorer of the NHL regular season and won Art Ross Trophy.
In the regular championship-2024/25 Kucherov scored 121 points (37+84). He was five points ahead of the striker of Colorado Nathan McKinnon (32+84).
Prior to this, Kucherov won “Art Ross Trophy” in the 2018/19 and -23/24 seasons. The striker became the first Russian who managed to win this award for the third time. He surpassed the achievement of Evgeny Malkin – the striker of Pittsburgh twice became the best scorer of the season.
Three hockey players won three times or more “Art Ross Trophy”. Most of the awards by Wayne Gretzki (10).
