The co -owner of Florida was suspended NHL for offensive posts on social networks

Dag Sifu, who own the minority package of shares of the Florida Panthers club, was removed by the NHL for an indefinite period for “unreasonable and inappropriate” posts on social networks.
The co -owner of Panthers, who has Israeli roots, argued in social networks with one of the subscribers and allowed himself sharp statements: “Worst of all, to be a tearful stupid anti -Semite. Jonah”. He also wrote: “Eat shit, an anti -Semite -nonsense from the 51st state. From childhood for Israel! ”
The 51st state, Americans mockingly call the US countries that are influenced by the United States. Recently, this expression is often used in relation to Canada.
After that, the SIFA first made his account in the social network X closed, and then completely deactivated it.
But the NHL conducted an investigation of this episode: “The NHL came to the conclusion that Mr. Sifa’s posts were unacceptable and inappropriate. As a result, Mr. Sifa was removed for an indefinite period from any participation in the affairs of the club and the NHL. ”
Sifu himself already apologized for his behavior.
– I published on social networks, regrettable and inflammatory comments. My behavior does not comply with the standards of the Florida club. I sincerely apologize to everyone who affected my comments. I intend to work with the NHL to correct my actions, ”Florida Hockey Now quotes the words of the functionary.
Florida is the current owner of the Stanley Cup. In the second round of the play -OFF -2025, the team plays with Toronto: an account in a series of up to four wins is 2–2.
