Boris Mironov was appointed to the post of head coach of the Togliatti Lada, the press service of the hockey club reports.

Last season, 53 -year -old Mironov entered the coaching staff of Tractor and became the silver medalist of the Gagarin Cup. In the season -2021/22, he headed the Moscow Spartak. During a professional career, Mironov in the NHL spoke for the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhox and New York Rangers. In total, he has 741 matches in the League.

Lada, according to the results of last season, took 10th place in the standings of the Eastern Conference and could not reach the playoffs.
