Ovechkin did not enter the symbolic teams of the NHL season
The Russian striker of Washington Alexander Ovechkin is not included in the symbolic teams of the NHL season-2024/25.
In the vote for the best left striker, Ovechkin took third place – he scored 291 points. He lost to Kyle Connor from Winnipeg (796 points) and Brandon Heigel from Tampa (447 points).
During the season – 2024/25 Ovechkin broke the Wayne Gretzki record for goal in the NHL regular championships. According to the results of the season, the Russian asset in the career became 897 goals in regular seasons and 974 goals, taking into account the playoffs. Washington flew out in the second round of the NHL playoffs, losing in the series of Carolina (1–4).
