The Club “Sochi” will send an official appeal to the Continental Hockey League (KHL) with a request to coordinate the presence of fans in the attributes “Vityaz” at their matches in the Moscow region.

On Tuesday, the KHL announced that the Vityaz would not take part in the season -2025/26.

– When sports clubs disappear from the radar, it is always sad. Well, because each is history, victories and defeats, faithful fans, family traditions and even habits. Yes, sometimes people are rooting for a particular club just out of habit. This is fine.

The Vityaza near Moscow is not a very long story, there are no large trophies and a multimillion -dollar army of fans. But from this the news that the team will not play in the upcoming KHL season does not become less sad. And now I don’t want to say “there” – about history, successes and fans.

We believe that a point is not set in the history of Vityaz. And we will sincerely wait for the return of the team. We do not want sports clubs to die in Russia.

As a sign of our support, we will be happy to see all Vityazh fans at our matches in the Moscow region. Come to the games of the “leopards” in the paraphernalia of the beloved “Vityaz”, it will be wildly pleasant to us. Is it true.

For its part, Sochi will send an official appeal to the KHL with a request to coordinate the presence of fans in the attributes of Vityazh at the matches of our team in the Moscow region.

We believe that the “knight” will return! We all want this in Sochi! – reports the press service of Sochi in the Telegram channel.

Vityaz spent all 17 seasons in the KHL, but only four times hit the playoffs. Last season, the team near Moscow became the tenth in the Western Conference, gaining 59 points in 68 matches.

The new season of the Fonbet of the KHL championship starts on September 5.
