Toronto exchanged striker Mitch Marner in Vegas, the press service of the Canadian Club of the NHL reports.
In return, Toronto received the 28 -year -old striker Nicolas Rua.
Earlier, Toronto extended the contract with the 28 -year -old Marner by eight years. The player’s salary will be $ 12 million a year on average. On July 1, he could become an unlimited free agent.
In the season -2024/25, Marner scored 102 (27+75) points for 81 games in the regular championship and added 13 (2+11) points in 13 playoff matches.
Rua scored 15 goals last season and made 26 assists in 71 regularities matches. In the playoffs on his account 4 (2+2) points in 11 meetings.
