Montreal considers the possibility of signing a contract with Evgeny Kuznetsov – Media
The Montreal Canadiens National Hockey League Club is considering signing a contract with the Russian striker Evgeny Kuznetsov, TSN journalist Marco d’Amiko reports.
Earlier, the representative of the player Shumi Babaev told Match TV that the hockey player employment options in the KHL were pre -discussed, but there were no official negotiations with anyone. Babaev also said that it was decided to continue Kuznetsov’s career in the NHL.

The obvious necessity here (that is why Joseph Velen is mentioned simultaneously with Kuznetsov) in the fact that Canadiens is certainly needed by the central striker Levsha for the next season, the journalist said.
Kuznetsov is 33 years old, in the 2024/25 season I spent 45 matches for SKA and scored 40 points (13 goals and 27 assists). The Petersburg club completed the struggle for the Gagarin Cup at the stage of the first round, losing to the Dynamo Moscow in the series with a score of 2–4, in April SKA terminated the contract with the forward.
