Forward Evgeny Kuznetsov will not continue his career in Montreal, said player agent Shumi Babaev.
Earlier information appeared that the Club of the National Hockey League is considering signing a contract with a 33 -year -old Russian striker.
– Evgeny Kuznetsov would have suitable for Montreal perfectly, but in Canadiens there is simply no place for him. And I do not think that he will have a chance. I spoke with the leadership of the club, and we understood each other. Now Kuznetsov is very motivated. In St. Petersburg, he spent a good season.
“Washington” for Kuznetsov? I don’t think he will return there. Rather, he will again be in Carolina than to play for Capitals again, Babaev wrote on a social network.
Kuznetsov in the -2024/25 season spent 45 matches for SKA and scored 40 points (13 goals and 27 assists).
