Ovechkin’s scandalous friend suddenly returned to Washington. And already scores goals

The former Kapitals star pulled closer to his favorite team.

Star Russian hockey player Evgeny Kuznetsov this summer expressed a desire to return to North America to once again try to restart his career. Despite the ongoing offseason, the striker already managed to please the loyal fans with a cool performance in the first match for the Washington team.

“Ready to play for any position”

The return of Kuznetsov to Russia came out, to put it mildly, ambiguous. In the regular championship, due to various reasons, the striker, behind which a pile of scandals in the NHL reaches out, spent only 39 matches. In the playoffs of his SKA flew after the first round. At the same time, Eugene showed a pretty good effectiveness, gaining a total of 40 (13+27) points.

The seasonal voyage to the St. Petersburg Army ended in April. The parties terminated the contract for mutual agreement. Eugene emphasized that he has no offense at the club. After that, many KHL teams expressed a desire to get the Star Center Former, but the case did not reach the agreement.

On June 26, Agent Kuznetsova Shumi Babaev wrote in his Telegram channel that the hockey player will spend the next season in North America. He also spoke about the interest of a number of overseas clubs in an experienced hockey player with Stanley’s Kube. Eugene’s desire to return to the NHL was so strong that Babaev even posted a photograph where the player stands in goalkeeper uniform.

– Having borrowed Ilya Samsonov, Kuzya, once again makes it clear that he is ready to play hockey for absolutely any position. A talented person is talented in everything, – Babaev left a comment.

“Ready to play for a million-two”

Now the NHL is equipped with teams for the next season, however, the main signatures have already been made. Despite the agent’s words about a great interest in Kuznetsov, not a single team dared to offer the striker with a scandalous reputation a contract.

The lack of interest is even more surprising, given the financial requests of the Russian. The famous insider David Panott reported on July 17 that the striker is ready to play the NHL that are a penny by the current standards of a penny.

“He is ready to play for a million-two plus bonuses, preferably as part of the applicants for the Stanley Cup, who want to add in the depths of the composition,” NHL Rumour Report quotes Panotta.

Now Eugene maintains the form in his native Washington. The forward plays on the site with the Capitals logo, but not for the “capital”, as one might think, but for the amateur team “MUS”. A modest squad fights for leadership in the Mciahl Beer League. Interestingly, Kuznetsov went to the match against the Chifs in Jersey “Tractor”.

The Russian immediately joined the new team. He helped the “moose” to win with a score of 9: 4. On the account of the eminent striker, the double and the shit is a gear. This victory allowed the Mus to break away from the Chifs in the standings. Now the squad Kuznetsov is the second of the ten teams of the League.

If Eugene is fine in amateur hockey, then a long search for the team against the backdrop of the constant signatures of the Russian competitors in position causes some concern. Every day, the likelihood is growing that the striker will not offer a contract in the NHL.
