Roman Rotenberg and Evgeny Plushenko will play with Alexander Ovechkin in Gala Match Ovi Cup

As it became known to “Match TV”, Roman Rotenberg and Evgeny Plushenko will play with Alexander Ovechkin in Gala -Mathe OVI Cup children’s tournament.

Gala -Match will be held on August 9 at 12.00 Moscow time at the Mytishchi Arena – on the last day of the OVI Cup children’s tournament, in which 24 teams from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will take part.

Alexander Ovechkin, Vyacheslav Fetisov, Valery Kamensky, Roman Rotenberg, Evgeny Plushenko, Alexei Morozov, Pavel Datsyuk, Kirill Kaprizov, Dmitry Sychev, Alexander Guskov, Dmitry Orlov, Andrei Nikolishin, Kamil Gadzhiev, Matvey Maryov, Matvey Maryov, Matvey Maryov, Matvey Gadzhikov, Kamil Gadzhikov, Kamil Gadzhikov, Kamil Kamychkov will take part in Gala -Match. Kirill Marchenko, Yegor Zamula and Dmitry Simashev.

The coaching staff will include Alexander Yakushev, Viktor Shalimov and actor Denis Nikiforov.

Gala Match will be dedicated to Ovechkin’s record in the NHL. This year, the Russian broke Wayne Gretzky’s record, abandoning the 895th puck in his career in the NHL regular championships.

After the gala match, the final game of the tournament among the best children and youth teams will be held in the arena of the Ice Palace, the outcome of which will determine the owner of the main trophy-the transitional Cup named after Alexander Ovechkin. Ovechkin will award winners and prize -winners.

The Cup of Alexander Ovechkin will be held from August 2 to 9 on two areas near Moscow – in Krasnogorsk in the Vladimir Petrov Arena and in Mytishchi in the Viktor Shalimov arena. 24 teams of the best children and youth hockey academies of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will take part in it-a record number of participants for the entire time of the tournament.
