Chinese hockey club Kunlun Red Star is officially renamed Shanghai Dragons
Chinese “Kunlun Red Star” changed the name to “Shanghai Drages”, the press service of the KHL club reports.
Together with the name, the club also changed the logo. The new emblem depicts a dragon in red and blue colors. Earlier it became known that the team in the season -2025/26 will play on SKA Arena in St. Petersburg.
“Kunlun Red Star” debuted in the KHL in the 2016/17 season. In the same season, the team only once in history entered the playoffs, where she lost in the first round.
The new season of the Fonbet of the KHL championship starts on September 5.
