The best scorer of the KHL last season Livo and Salavat Yulaev terminated the contract by mutual agreement
Forward Joshua Livo left Salavat Yulaev, the press service of the Ufa club reports.
The hockey player and Salavat terminated the contract by mutual agreement. Earlier, the Canadian agent Ivan Bothev told Match TV that the club terminated the agreement with 32 -year -old Livo because of his late fees.
““ Salavat Yulaev ”thanks Joshua for the game and wishes good luck in a future career,” the statement said.
Livo played for Salavat since the season – 2023/24. He spent 122 matches for the team, scored 70 goals and gave 72 assists. The Canadian in the 2024/25 season became the KHL record holder by the number of goals in one regular championship, abandoning 49 goals in 62 meetings. In addition, he is the best scorer of last season – 80 points.
The new season of the Fonbet of the KHL championship starts on September 5.
