Shipachev was the first to play 900 matches in the KHL regular championships
Dynamo Minsk forward Vadim Shipachev became the first player in KHL history to play 900 matches in the league’s regular championships.
On Monday, Dynamo hosts Traktor Chelyabinsk, the score in the third period is 4:1 in favor of the hosts.
Shipachev is 38 years old; he previously played for Severstal, SKA, Dynamo Moscow, and Ak Bars. In total, the forward scored 855 points (266+589) in the regular season; including the playoffs, he played 1072 matches in the KHL.
