Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov may require surgery, journalist George Richards reports, citing Panthers head coach Paul Maurice.
Kulikov suffered an upper body injury in the NHL regular season match against Philadelphia (2:1) on Thursday when he tried to make a power move near the boards. The club added the Russian player to the injured list.
34-year-old Kulikov is a two-time Stanley Cup winner with Florida. His contract with a salary of $1.15 million runs until the end of the 2027/28 season.
