Russian forward of the Philadelphia Flyers Matvey Michkov said that the lack of effective performance in matches is not due to an ankle injury.

Since the start of the season, Philadelphia has played three games, and 20-year-old Michkov has not been effective.

— What do you think about your game?

– Of course, I would like to score. I think if you work, everything will definitely come, I’m sure of it. The most important thing is for the team to win, that’s the most important thing for me.

— The coach said that you had a minor ankle injury. Tell me about her.

— I was training, I just sprained my leg a little, so now I’m slowly getting into shape. But the fact that I don’t score or give assists for three games definitely has nothing to do with this,” the club’s press service quotes Michkov.

The Philadelphia Flyers will next play against the Winnipeg Jets on October 16th.
