Neftekhimik interrupted Metallurg’s three-game winning streak in the KHL
Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik defeated Magnitogorsk Metallurg in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
The meeting in Nizhnekamsk ended with a score of 5:3 in favor of the home team, which included goals from Vladislav Barulin, Evgeny Mityakin, Grigory Seleznev, Andrey Belozerov and German Tochilkin. Daniil Vovchenko, Roman Kantserov and Derek Barak scored for the losers.
Neftekhimik interrupted Metallurg’s three-game streak, which leads the Eastern Conference with 30 points. The Nizhnekamsk team (21 points) rose to fifth place.
