Dorofeev set the Vegas club record for goals at the start of the NHL season
Russian Vegas Golden Knights forward Pavel Dorofeev set a club scoring record, the NHL press service reports.
25-year-old Dorofeev scored a double in the first period of the regular season match against the Carolina Hurricanes and became the first hockey player in Vegas history to score nine goals in the first 10 matches of the championship.
Dorofeev is the club’s best sniper this season.
The last NHL player to score more than Dorofeev in the first 10 league games was Connor McDavid (11 goals in the 2022/23 season).
