CSKA beat Severstal dry in a KHL match
CSKA Moscow beat Severstal Cherepovets in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.
The meeting took place on Monday in Moscow and ended with a score of 2:0 (1:0, 0:0, 1:0) in favor of the hosts, goals were scored by Pavel Karnaukhov and Takhir Mingachev.
The CSKA goal was defended by Dmitry Gamzin, who stopped all 34 shots. This is his second shutout this season.
CSKA scored 26 points and ranks seventh in the Western Conference, Severstal (32 points) is fourth.
In the next match, CSKA will play away against Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik on November 14, Severstal will have an away match against Moscow Spartak on the same day.
