Lokomotiv lost to the Dragons in the KHL match, outscoring the opponent almost four times

Yaroslavl “Lokomotiv” lost to the “Shanghai Dragons” (3:4 OT) on their ice in the Fonbet KHL Championship match.

For the hosts, Maxim Shalunov opened the scoring in the first minute, and Byron Frez and Egor Surin also scored.

Nick Merkley scored a brace for the visitors during the third period, and Gage Quinney scored the third goal at the 57:19 mark. In overtime, Kevin Labanc scored the winning goal for the Dragons.

During the match, Lokomotiv made 49 shots at the opponent’s goal, while the Dragons’ hockey players shot Daniil Isaev on target only 14 times.

Lokomotiv scored 41 points and leads the Western Conference, Shanghai Dragons are in 6th place with 32 points.
