“Ovechkin makes me sick.” Canadians demand that the Russian retire

A cool match performed by the forward “set fire” to the butts of the rabid Canadiens fans.
Washington Capitals hockey player Alexander Ovechkin pleased Russian fans with four points in one match for the first time in three years by skating around Montreal. But the Canadian fans, who can’t wait for our forward to retire, are not laughing now.
“Very important two points”
Montreal is one of the most convenient teams for Ovechkin. In the away game of the current regular season, the Russian forward confirmed this, scoring three goals and making one assist. Alexander’s contribution to this success of “Washington” is difficult to overestimate, because he had a hand in exactly half of the goals. It is not known how this meeting would have turned out, because the Capitals won with a difference of four goals – 8:4.
The hockey community has not seen such performance from Ovechkin since 2022, when the Russian left no stone unturned against the Chicago defense. Thanks to Alexander’s performance in the match with the Canadian club, Washington moved up to the playoff zone. The Russian rewrote many cool records, and also entered the top 10 best scorers in the history of the NHL.
At the same time, after a fantastic game, the Russian modestly focused on the team’s successes and partners. Alexander also did not miss the opportunity to congratulate teammate Dylan Strome on the birth of his third child.

The joy of Washington fans after such a performance by Ovechkin is difficult to describe. The hat-trick performed by the Russian also forced even the furious haters to change their shoes. They openly admit this on social networks.
“Ovechkin just scored 33% of Gretzky’s total goals in his last season in 60 minutes,” @GretzkyHateClub sneers.

“Ovechkin lives on a diet of cola, sandwiches, spicy chips, and, of course, “dead” Montreal goalies,” jokes @ColeusReed.
“I’m so sick of Ovechkin”
Canadiens fans weren’t laughing. They are, in principle, ready to mentally destroy their own players after failures; there is nothing to say about other teams. Canadians bombarded Ovechkin with comments containing angry insults. You can even understand them a little, because the Russian scored 40 goals for Montreal in his career, scoring four hat-tricks along the way.
