Kucherov ahead of Kaprizov and took first place in the race of Russian NHL scorers

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov took first place among Russian scorers in the NHL regular season.

Kucherov scored an assist hat-trick in a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers. Now Kucherov has 32 (11+21) points in 23 games.

The Tampa forward beat Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov, who scored a goal in the match against the Buffalo Sabers (2:3 B). Kaprizov has 31 (17+14) points in 26 matches.

The top scorer of the season is Canadian forward for the Colorado Avalanche, Nathan MacKinnon, who scored 44 (20+24) points in 25 games.
