Malkin moved into 26th place on the list of all-time top NHL scorers
Russian Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin rose to 26th place in the list of top scorers of the NHL regular championships, the league’s press service reports.
On Thursday, Malkin scored 3 (2+1) points in a 4:3 win over Tampa. Now he has 1375 (522+853) points in the regular season. The Russian surpassed Mike Modano’s result (1374) and moved into clear 26th place on the league’s all-time list of scorers.
Taking into account the playoffs, three-time Stanley Cup winner Malkin has 1,555 points, placing him 23rd in this indicator.
The best results of all time belong to Wayne Gretzky, who has 2857 points in the regular season and 3239 including the playoffs.
