Chicago placed Bedard on the injured list, with the team’s leading scorer out until January
Chicago’s press service reported that the club placed forward Connor Bedard on the injured player list.
Bedard was injured in a game with St. Louis (2:3), where he spent more than 20 minutes on the ice and scored two assists. At the last second of the game, during a throw-in, the player fell to the ice and went to the bench, holding his shoulder.
According to insider Frank Seravalli, the 20-year-old hockey player will not return to the ice until at least January – that’s when doctors will assess his condition. It is also noted that there is no question of the need for surgery now.
This season, Bedard played 31 matches and scored 44 (19+25) points; he leads the team in scoring by a large margin, as well as separately in the number of goals and assists.
