“Siberia” interrupted Avangard’s three-game winning streak in the KHL

Novosibirsk “Sibir” defeated Omsk “Avangard” in a home match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.

The meeting in Novosibirsk ended with a score of 4:2 (1:1, 2:1, 1:0). Semyon Koshelev scored a double for the hosts, and Anton Kosolapov and Chase Priskey also scored. Andrew Poturalski and Konstantin Okulov scored for Avangard.

“Sibir” with 28 points ranks 11th in the Eastern Conference standings, “Avangard” suffered its first defeat after three victories and is third in the East with 45 points.

In the next match, the Novosibirsk club will host Admiral from Vladivostok on December 19, and Avangard will play away from Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik the day before.
