Russian forward Alexander Kisakov has signed a rookie contract with Buffalo. This was reported by the club’s press service. The contract is three years.
Buffalo selected 19-year-old Kisakov in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. This season, he scored 56 points (26 goals + 30) in 51 games for Dynamo Moscow in the MHL. He also played four games for Dynamo in the KHL.
Kisakov became the third player in the 2021 Buffalo draft class to sign an entry-level contract, joining defender Owen Power (first round, 1st overall) and forward Josh Bloom (3rd round, 95th overall).
