Pittsburgh forward Malkin resumed training after injury
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin has returned to training after injury, journalist Dave Molinari reports.
On Wednesday, Malkin took to the ice and worked out according to an individual program.
Previously, the Russian forward was placed on the injured list and missed six of the team’s NHL games.
This season, 39-year-old Malkin has 29 points (8+21) in 26 games with a +5 utility. He is the team’s leading assister and ranks second on the Penguins’ scoring list.
