Kuznetsov’s debut goal helped Metallurg defeat Sochi in a KHL match
Metallurg Magnitogorsk defeated Sochi in the regular season match of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in Sochi ended with a score of 6:1 (4:0, 1:0, 1:1) in favor of the guests. Among the winners were Mikhail Fedorov, Alexander Petunin, Igor Nechaev, Derek Barak, Ruslan Iskhakov and Evgeny Kuznetsov, who scored his debut goal for the Magnitogorsk club. Sergei Popov scored for Sochi.
Metallurg leads the Eastern Conference standings with 55 points, Sochi (23) is 11th in the West.
In the next match, Andrei Razin’s team will play away against Chelyabinsk “Traktor” on December 19, and “Sochi” will play away against Kazakhstan’s “Barys” on December 21.
