World Hockey Championship U-20. Ukraine national team won the match of life with a comeback
The Ukrainian youth hockey team played its last match in Division 1A at the U-20 World Championship. In the fight for survival, the Ukrainian team retained its place in the second league by beating France with a score of 3-2.
At the same time, the Ukrainians lost 0:2, but made a comeback at the last minute and scored the winning goal.
The Ukrainian national team started the tournament with a victory against Kazakhstan in overtime and a defeat against Norway in overtime, and then suffered two consecutive defeats and survived the last match without any problems.
In the last World Cup, the team won the tournament and was promoted to League 1A for the first time since 2012 and will continue to compete next year.
The opponents will be announced when the Elite World Cup concludes in January.
