Salavat Yulaev beat Severstal and won their 700th victory in the KHL
Ufa’s Salavat Yulaev defeated Cherepovets’ Severstal in an away match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in Cherepovets ended with a score of 2:1 (2:1, 0:0, 0:0) in favor of the guests. Alexander Zharovsky and Maxim Kuznetsov scored goals for the winners. Danil Veryaev scored for the hosts.
“Salavat Yulaev” won the 700th victory during its participation in the KHL. Ufa with 33 points are in eighth position in the Eastern Conference standings. Severstal (49 points) is second in the West.
In the next match, Salavat Yulaev will host Ak Bars Kazan on December 20, Severstal will play on its ice with Moscow CSKA on December 23.
