Forward of Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik Bulat Shafigullin may be disqualified for 10 matches of the Fonbet KHL Championship for using force against a referee in a game against Omsk Avangard.

The meeting in Nizhnekamsk ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the guests. In the second period, 25-year-old Shafigullin hit the referee in the face during a brawl, for which he received a disciplinary fine for the rest of the match.

According to the KHL disciplinary regulations, for using force against a referee, a hockey player can be disqualified for up to 10 matches and fined from 100 to 500 thousand rubles.
