The KHL reported that the referee of the match between Lokomotiv and CSKA apologized to Hartley
The press service of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) told Match TV that the referee of the regular season match between Lokomotiv and CSKA apologized to the head coach of the Yaroslavl team, Bob Hartley.
The meeting took place on Thursday in Yaroslavl and ended with the home team winning the shootout – 2:1. During the game, one of the match referees forgot to turn off the microphone and made an obscene statement about Hartley.
— During the match “Lokomotiv” – CSKA, the referee spoke emotionally about the head coach of HC “Lokomotiv” Bob Hartley. This situation was promptly reviewed by the league. The KHL carried out additional work to resolve the incident: the referee personally spoke with the coach and apologized, the KHL press service told Match TV.
Lokomotiv leads the Western Conference table with 52 points.
