Washington returned Miroshnichenko to the main team and sent Trineev to the farm club
The National Hockey League (NHL) club Washington Capitals transferred Russian forward Ivan Miroshnichenko to the main roster from the Hershey farm club.
Another Russian forward, Bogdan Trineev, followed in the opposite direction.
Miroshnichenko, 21, missed the start of the season due to injury and was then sent to Hershey to get into shape. He has not yet played in the current NHL regular season. In October, Washington extended the contract with Miroshnichenko for two years. The Russian striker will receive 925 thousand dollars a year.
23-year-old Trineev played two games in the current NHL season and scored no points.
