Russian forward “Utah” Booth scored the first goal of his career in the NHL
Utah Mammoth forward Daniil Booth opened the scoring in a home match of the NHL regular season against the New Jersey Devils.
The 20-year-old Russian hit the opponent’s goal in the 10th minute of the match, converting the majority. This is Booth’s first goal in the NHL; he is playing his tenth game in the league. Previously, he had two assists.
20-year-old Booth left Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in May and signed a three-year entry-level contract with Utah. The Russian started the current season in the AHL, playing 19 matches for the Tucson Roadrunners and scoring 17 points (8+9).
On December 2, Utah promoted Booth to the main team.
