The Shanghai Dragons have terminated the contract with Canadian forward Spooner.

The KHL club Shanghai Dragons announced the termination of the contract with Canadian forward Ryan Spooner.
The contract with the 33-year-old Canadian was terminated by agreement of the parties.
Spooner joined the Shanghai Dragons in August 2025. This season, the forward played 31 matches for the Chinese team and scored 20 points (5+15). Previously, the Canadian played for the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Avangard Omsk and Dynamo Minsk.
