The New York Rangers defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in a match of the NHL regular season.

The team from New York beat their opponent in a shootout. Regular time ended with the score 4:4 (1:0, 1:4, 2:0). For the Rangers, Russian Artemi Panarin scored a double, and Vincent Trocheck and Mika Zibanejad scored once more. Travis Sanheim, Owen Tippett, Trevor Zegras and Rodrigo Abols scored for Philadelphia.

In the post-match shootout, Panarin, who was recognized as the first star of the match, scored the winning goal.

The Rangers have 40 points and are in tenth place in the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia (41 points) is fourth in the East.

Junior World Hockey Championship. Great comeback from the USA, 9 goals and hat-trick from Canada

Another day of play in the elite league of the World Junior Hockey Championship has ended.

The USA team beat Slovakia with a score of 6:5, with big problems. The host team of the tournament lost 0:2 and 1:3 but managed to come back and win.

Forward Tomas Hrenko scored a double for the Slovaks, scoring three goals in the last match. And the Americans have a double thank you to James Hagens.

USA and Sweden are leaders in the group with 9 points.

In the other group, Canada beat Denmark 9-1, while forward Gavin McKenna is expected to score a hat-trick and become number 1 in the 2026 draft.

In another match, the Czech Republic defeated Finland 2:1 in overtime.

Junior World Hockey Championship. A landslide victory for one of the favourites.

Another match day has started in the elite league of the U-20 World Junior Hockey Championship.

The Swedish team, one of the favorites, beat Germany with a score of 8:1. This was the team’s third victory after matches against Slovakia and Switzerland.

Swedish leaders Frondell and Björk scored a double each.

Sweden is leading the group with 9 points.

The German team is still scoreless and in last place in the group.

Detroit beat Toronto 3:2 in overtime in an NHL regular season match. The Wings came back twice and won thanks to a goal from young defenseman Simon Edvinsson.

The team leads the East with Carolina.

Tampa Bay is in the top 3 in the conference after beating Montreal 4:3 in the penalty shootout. This is the Lightning’s fourth straight win.

Pittsburgh defeated Chicago 7:3 and forward Justin Brazeau scored his first hat trick of his NHL career. That’s right, the Penguins are second to last in the standings.
