The Minnesota Wild hockey players defeated the Edmonton Oilers in a home match of the NHL regular season.

The meeting in St. Paul ended with a score of 5:2. For Minnesota, Matthew Boldy scored a double, Ryan Hartman, Vladimir Tarasenko and Niko Sturm scored one goal each. Andrew Mangipane and Connor McDavid scored for Edmonton.

Russian forward Tarasenko has a goal and an assist. He has scored in three matches in a row. In total, the 34-year-old Russian has 19 (7+12) points this season.

Another Russian forward Yakov Trenin scored an assist, scoring his 11th point (2+9) in the championship.

Kirill Kaprizov scored no points and broke his three-game scoring streak.

The third day of competitions at the Junior World Hockey Championship held in the USA has ended.

After defeating Denmark with a score of 6:2, the Finnish team also defeated Latvia with a score of 8:0. The Latvian team, which was only defeated by Canada in extra time, did not have the strength to cope with another strong opponent.

The Finnish team outscored its opponent with 41:7 (an anti-record at the World Championships – six shots per game).

Finnish hockey players lead the group with 6 points, while Latvia is in second place with one point.

The third day of matches in the elite league of the U-20 World Youth Hockey Championship has started.

The Swedish team, which started the tournament with a difficult victory against Slovakia, defeated the Swiss team with a score of 3-2 today. And again there were difficulties for one of the favorites.
