Olympic champion Kalinin signed a contract with CSKA

Forward Sergei Kalinin has signed a contract with CSKA Moscow, the press service of the KHL club reports.

In early December, Kalinin signed a trial contract with the army team. The agreement with the 34-year-old forward runs until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Kalinin played for CSKA in 2018–2020 and won the Gagarin Cup with the team. In the KHL, the forward also played for Avangard Omsk, SKA St. Petersburg, Traktor Chelyabinsk and Vityaz near Moscow. In 714 matches in the league, Kalinin scored 230 (97+133) points.

As a member of the Russian national team, he won the 2018 Olympic Games and the 2014 World Cup.
