Ak Bars defeated Avtomobilist in the KHL match
Kazan Ak Bars defeated Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist in a home match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in Kazan ended with a score of 5:0 (2:0, 1:0, 2:0). The goals were scored by Artem Galimov, Alexander Khmelevsky, Alexander Barabanov, Grigory Denisenko and Mikhail Fisenko.
Ak Bars won the fourth match in a row, the team with 58 points is in second position in the Eastern Conference standings. Avtomobilist’s streak of five victories was interrupted; the Ekaterinburg team is fourth with 49 points.
In the next match, Ak Bars will host Avangard Omsk, and Avtomobilist will play Traktor in Chelyabinsk. Both matches will take place on January 6.
