Lokomotiv defeated CSKA in a KHL match in shootouts
Yaroslavl Lokomotiv defeated CSKA Moscow in an away match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 2:1 in shootouts (1:0, 0:0, 0:1, 0:0, 1:0). For the guests, Byron Frese scored the puck in regulation time, and Denis Zernov scored for the hosts.
In the shootout, the Yaroslavl team turned out to be more accurate (2:0), who won the fourth match of the season against the army team.
Lokomotiv with 58 points is in first position in the Western Conference standings, CSKA (48 points) is sixth.
In the next match, Lokomotiv will play in Magnitogorsk with Metallurg, and CSKA will host Dynamo Minsk. Both matches will take place on January 6.
