The Pittsburgh Penguins hockey players beat the Columbus Blue Jackets in an away match of the NHL regular season.

The game in Columbus ended with a score of 5:4 in favor of the guests. During the second period, Pittsburgh was losing with a score of 1:4, but the Penguins sent the match into overtime and won a strong-willed victory.

For Pittsburgh, Ville Koivunen, Noel Acchiari, Thomas Novak, Rickard Rakell and Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal in overtime. At Columbus, goals were scored by Russians Dmitry Voronkov and Kirill Marchenko, as well as Mason Marchment and Zachary Werenski.

Marchenko has 33 (15+18), and Voronkov has 27 (15+12) points this season. They are second and third among the club’s scorers, behind Werenski (44).
