“Ovi Jr. follows his father” – Ovechkin’s wife showed how Alexander helped his son pull out a baby tooth
Anastasia Shubskaya, the wife of Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin, posted a video on social networks about how their son Sergei lost his front tooth shortly after his father.
On Sunday, Ovechkin Sr. helped his 7-year-old son Sergei pull out a loose baby tooth. The operation took place inside the Washington training arena. Capitals hockey players filmed Alexander first encouraging Sergei and then helping him pull out a tooth. Anastasia posted videos and photos of father and son with similar “toothless” smiles on social networks.
– Like the father, like the son. Ovi Jr., dental edition! This is what happens when you go to your dad’s work,” Anastasia wrote under the video.
Ovechkin lost part of his front tooth on Saturday during the NHL regular season match against Chicago (2:3). Four minutes into the third period, Chicago defenseman Louis Crevier hit Ovechkin in the face with his stick. The Russian started bleeding. He barely made it to the bench, but then continued playing.
