The Czech national team defeated the Canadian team in the semi-finals of the Junior World Hockey Championship in the USA.

The match took place in St. Paul and ended with a score of 6:4. For the Czech Republic, Wojciech Czyharz scored a double; Maximilian Curran, Adam Tittlebach, Tomas Poletin and Adam Benac scored a goal each. For Canada, goals were scored by Tij Iginla, Zane Parekh, Cole Reshni and Porter Marton.

The Czechs took revenge from the Canadians for their defeat with a score of 5:7 at the start of the group round of the tournament.

The teams of the Czech Republic and Sweden will play in the final. Canada and Finland will compete in the bronze medal match. Both games will take place on Monday.
