NHL. 9 Islanders goals, McDavid hat trick, Tampa and Vegas wins
The leader of the NHL Eastern Conference is Tampa Bay, which beat Colorado 4:2 on home ice and won its eighth consecutive game.
Interestingly, the Avalanche, which is leading the league overall standings, lost two games in a row for the first time this season. Carolina has the same points as the Lightning, who defeated Dallas 6:3.
Among other results in the East, we note Toronto’s 4:1 victory over Florida, as well as the New York Islanders’ nine unanswered goals against New Jersey.
Forward Anthony Duclair scored a hat trick and scored five points.
Connor McDavid continues to have fun out West. Edmonton beat Nashville 6:2 and the striker scored three goals to extend his point streak in the matches to 16 matches. Leon Draisaitl has three points and the Oilers are in the top 5 in the conference.
A serious crisis continues in Winnipeg. The Jets lost 3-4 in overtime to Vegas and lost their tenth straight game. The best team from last regular season is in last place in the standings.
