Zorkin’s double brought Salavat Yulaev victory over Neftekhimik in the KHL match
Ufa’s Salavat Yulaev defeated Nizhnekamsk’s Neftekhimik in a home match of the regular season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.
The meeting in Ufa ended with a score of 2:1 (1:0, 0:1, 1:0). Among the winners, Nikita Zorkin scored a double, and Nikita Khoruzhev scored for the guests.
“Salavat Yulaev” with 40 points is in seventh position in the Eastern Conference standings, “Neftekhimik” (43 points) is fifth.
In the next match, Salavat Yulaev will host Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg, and Neftekhimik will play on their ice with Admiral Vladivostok. Both meetings will take place on January 8.
